Casablanca – Marrakech

6 days Desert tour from Casablanca: Today our private 6 days Casablanca desert tour begins, after breakfast we drive from Casablanca towards Marrakech. You will enjoy guided tour of medina. We will also visit other interesting parts of Marrakech including museums, palaces, gardens Menara and Marjolle garden. We also visit new part of the city called Gueliz. Overnight in a riad.

Marrakech – Tizi N Tichka pass – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges

Today we drive  towards Dades Gorges  passing by the mountain pass of Tizi-n-Tichka. We will visit Berber village of Telouet in order to visit the abandoned Kasbah of the el Glaoui family (the Pasha of Marrakech during the French colonial period).

Then we continue to the village of Ait Ben Haddou the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a spectacular fortified village. We continue our tour to Ouarzazate and Dades valley passing by several other Berber areas such as Skoura Oasis and rose valley. We will have dinner in local riad/hotel where we stay overnight.

Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga desert

After breakfast we will visit Dades Gorge, Todra Gorge (lunch). Afterwards we will drive onward passing through many Berber Villages, such as Arfoud and Risasani Towns, optional stops in Arfoud to visit the big fossil factories. Overnight in a beautiful hotel in Merzouga desert.

Merzouga Desert Camp and camel trek

After breakfast we will visit the village of Khamlia, famous for musicians originally from Sudan and Mali. We will have lunch with Berber family living in desert and later today we prepare for camel ride in Sahara desert, guided by experienced camel guide. We will watch desert sunset in Merzouga desert. Once we reach desert camp we will enjoy Berber dinner, drum music around campfire. Overnight in private tent.

Merzouga – Erfoud – Midelt – Fes

Around 5h30 a.m, we will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes, possibly the best moment of Merzouga desert, then we will ride back the camels to the hotel where started where we will have a  typical breakfast, then we begin our drive towards Fes via the beautiful Ziz valley, Errachida and Midelt. Lunch on the way, and short break to watch the monkeys in cedar forests of the middle Atlas close to Azrou city at “Gourrou forests”. You will continue to Fes, where your tour from Marrakech to Fes ends.

Fes guided tour

Today we explore Fes, the oldest city in Morocco. We enjoy walking in its alleys and small streets; we will visit Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter and other cultural and historical sites including the Al Qaraouine University, the Tanneries, and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. We stay overnight in local riad.

Fes – Rabat – Casablanca

Today we drive to Rabat and then Casablanca passing by Volubilis ( the roman ruins). Overnight in Casablanca – and end of our 6 days Casablanca desert tour.
